2007 Ilsley Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon
Red cherry, tobacco, floral nodes, blueberry and spicy cinnamon attack the nose with undertones of chocolate, caramel, allspice, and brown sugar. Lots of stuff going on. The wine is massive, yet soft with big tannins, lovely acidity and a mouthful of red fruit. This wine has a powerful, rich texture with a long finish. Elegant as always.

2008 Ilsley Vineyards Seis Primas
The 2008 Seis Primas is a very deep ruby with violet overtones. The aroma is a complex mixture of black cherry, cassis, clove, allspice, cocoa, and vanilla bean. The flavors are bright with intense berry and spices on the entry, followed by a rich mouth-feel and a long, warm finish. The tannins are firm and well developed to give the wine structure and richness. The fruit lingers on the palate for a very long time.
